Beaver Cleaver's situation reminds me of few of my students. In our school system, there more students who are left on their own not by choice but because of different circumstances. They are the ones who usually act out and they become discipline problems. They consider school as the only place where they can get attention no matter what. With this group of students, the schools need to create ways to accomodate them. As educators we need to be aware of their needs.
